About the One Pitch |
2004 saw the first
offering of a one-pitch format for girls fastpitch. With some
minor changes, coaches agree that this format creates an exciting day of
competition. Nine innings of play instead of 7 or 1 hour and 20
minute time limit. |

Sanctioned |
ASA - All teams must be
sanctioned ASA to participate in any event hosted by Tournament
Consultants. Not sanctioned?

Format |
Four Game Guarantee - Round
Robin type format (weather permitting). Specific type based upon
entries in each age division. Possible pool play into bracket - but
4 games!
Tournament Consultants reserves the right to shorten / alter games in the
event of inclement weather. |

Registration Deadline |
Deadline to register is
two weeks prior to event, or when a division fills. All
Friendlies are filled on a first-come, first serve basis. Must have
a minimum of four teams in an age division! |

Entry Fee for "One
Pitch - 9 Inning Tournament" - $175 |

Entry Confirmation |
Applications will not be
accepted, nor will a spot be held without full entry fee. |

Refunds |
Will not be made unless the
tournament does not fill or you notify Tournament Consultants 30 days
prior to event!
Should your team decide to 'drop-out', a $25 processing fee will be
deducted from the entry received. |

turned in at the park on game day. |

Rules |
Game will be
played as follows:
1. Batter will come to plate with a 1 - 1 count.
2. Foul ball will be played the same as a regular game (unlimited.)
3. Unlimited substitutions.
4. Continuous batting order.
5. At the one hour of each game - the International Tie-breaker will be
instituted. (this gives teams the opportunity to work on the ITB.)
3. All other rules will be played by the ASA Rulebook for 2005. |
